VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): A possible DUI traffic collision sent three to the hospital Monday afternoon San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said. The two-vehicle traffic collision took place at the intersection of Mojave Drive and El Evado Roads at around 12:35 p.m.

A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Victorville Station Spokeswoman, Mara Rodriguez told Victor Valley News that the vehicles involved were a 2007 GMC Yukon driven by 35-year-old Brenda Gonzalez Rodas and a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by 33-year-old Kianna Knight.

Rodas and her passenger were transported by ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical center for treatment of injuries. Knight was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center for treatment, field sobriety test and citation.

Per scanner traffic, a deputy witnessed and reported the collision. “It is unclear right now if the Transportation Deputy witnessed the actual collision or arrived at the scene shortly after,” said Rodriguez.

Although alcohol is believed to be a factor, it is still yet to be determined and  the collision is under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Victorville Station at this time.
