Three Additional Teens Arrested For Throwing Large Rocks at Cars

PHELAN-(  Three additional juveniles are behind bars for flinging large rocks at vehicles near Highway 138 and Phelan Road causing damage to vehicles and injuries to at least one.

On March 2nd one 16-year-old male was interviewed and arrested. Over a week later three additional juvenile males were interviewed, arrested and booked into the San Bernardino County Juvenile Facility in San Bernardino.

The additional juveniles are two 17-year-olds and one 14-year-old. The arrests were related to multiple reported incidents reported between July 2015 and February 27, 2016. Authorities said the boys not only threw large rocks at vehicles including a marked Sheriff’s Department vehicle causing damage but they also allegedly placed objects in the roadway on Highway 138 near the Big Rock Inn.

Since the first San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Press Release several additional victims have came forward, leading detectives to believe that there may have been other unreported incidents.The investigation is ongoing and victims are encouraged to make a report with the Phelan Sheriff’s Station.
