VICTORVILLE, CALIF -(VVNG.com): Four people were injured on Thursday evening when a blue suburban went off the roadway and into a wash near Hesperia Road and Center Street.

Deputies from the Victorville Station and medical personnel responded to the report at about 5:36 p.m.
Upon arrival deputies located the vehicle inside a wash approximately 12 feet deep.

San Bernardino Sheriff Deputy Chavez, with the Victorville station,  said that the driver was able to get out of the vehicle, while three others required extrication.

The driver told authorities that his brakes failed while attempting to follow along Center Street where it curves just before Hesperia Road, sending his vehicle through the chainlink fence and into the deep wash.

The condition of the patients are not known at this time. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in this collision. Information pertaining to this incident will be updated as it becomes available.
