Suspect Still At Large After Adelanto Foot Pursuit

ADELANTO-(  At around 6:50 a.m. on Sunday morning deputies from the Victor Valley Station were dispatched to the area of Carmen and Savannah Streets when a suspect they were seeking returned to his mother’s home.

When they arrived, the suspect immediately fled on foot initiating a pursuit. Deputies lost visual of the suspect causing them to requested air and K-9 support. The suspect is described as a black male and he was last seen wearing a white shirt and khaki colored pants.

Sgt Rodriguez told Victor Valley News that the subject was wanted for criminal threats from the Saturday night.

Authorities believe he may have been picked up by a vehicle, causing the K-9 to be unable to lead them to the suspect.  The search was called off before 11:00 a.m.

If anyone believes that they saw the suspect getting into a vehicle or has any other information they are urged to contact the Victor Valley Police Department at  (760) 552-6800 or after hours at (760) 956-5001.
