On May 23, 2013, at 8:07 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to an apartment in the 14000 block of Seneca Road in Victorville following a report that a female was being held against her will at the location.

Upon arrival, deputies located a female adult with numerous serious injuries to her face and arms. A male adult, identified as Johnnie Pitchford, was also inside of the apartment and found to be on felony probation out of Adelanto.
