Stolen Vehicle Found in Victorville Home; Suspect Arrested

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Michael Haro, 26, a resident of Victorville was arrested for theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.

On Thursday, July 20, 2017 at approximately 3:30 am, unknown suspect(s) stole a 1991 maroon Honda CRX from a residence on North Willow Avenue in Rialto. The victim reported his vehicle stolen to Rialto Police Department who broadcast the information to surrounding law enforcement agencies.

At 12:21 pm, on the same date as the theft, deputies located the stolen Honda in the back yard of a residence in the 14200 block of Maricopa Road in Victorville.

“The vehicle was found covered with a car cover and the suspect, identified as Michael Haro, had started the process of stripping the vehicle,” sheriff’s officials said.

Michael Haro was arrested for grand theft auto and possession of stolen property. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
