Stolen handguns recovered during traffic stop in Victorville; 3 arrested

VICTORVILLE, Calif. — Deputies recovered two stolen handguns and arrested a juvenile and two adult suspects following a traffic stop, officials said.

On April 15, 2018, Deputies S. Carter and D. Medina, from the Victorville Police Department, conducted a traffic stop on Mojave Drive, near Topaz Road.

The vehicle was occupied by three males, identified as a 17-year-old male of San Bernardino, Antonio Brown, 21, of Victorville and Londell Henderson, 21, of Adelanto.

According to a sheriff’s news release, “during the traffic stop, deputies discovered two loaded handguns in their possession. A records check of the handguns determined both guns had been reported stolen. One gun was reported stolen in Moreno Valley on April 14, 2018, the other had been reported stolen in North Carolin a in June of 2002.”

The juvenile suspect was arrested and booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for receiving known stolen property. Brown and Henderson were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for receiving known stolen property.
