Skating Rink Party Leads to Death of a Riverside Business Owner

GRAND TERRACE-(VVNG.com): Less than two hours after the new year arrived, deputies were dispatched to Cal Skate located at 22080 Commerce Way in Grand Terrace to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, deputies located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds, two of which were security guards for the New Years Eve event at that location.

One victim was treated at the scene and two were transported to an area hospital for treatment. At approximately 3:10 a.m. 48-year-old Richard Williamson “Big Will”, owner of Big Will’s Security Services in Riverside was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Detail responded to the location and are conducting the investigation. The suspects remain outstanding and investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to contact investigators.  The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available for release at this time.
