Showing Gratitude: Giving Away Thanksgiving Dinner

VICTORVILLE – 2016 is almost over and with the holiday season in full effect, Valley Hi Toyota wants to show the High Desert some gratitude by “Giving Thanksgiving” in its latest social media contest.

“This month is when we really reflect how thankful we are to certain people in our lives and we want to give the opportunity for our community to share the love with one another as well,” says Todd Stokes, General Manager at the Victorville dealership.

Recently, Valley Hi Toyota shared its gratitude by giving away a Toyota Corolla to the winner, Brianne Bartlett of Victorville. Watch her reaction video HERE.

Valley Hi Toyota will be giving away 3 $100 grocery gift cards each week leading up to Thanksgiving! Starting November 1, during a FACEBOOK LIVE broadcast at 2pm, Valley Hi Toyota will give you an opportunity to win a $100 grocery gift card to give to a family member. “Often times we tend to forget how much a particular family member does in order to keep sanity, wellness, and much of the time, hope within the family. That’s why we want to give you the gift of giving!” says Brian Ortega, Social Media Marketing Manager.

For the first week, contestants will nominate a family member by sharing why they are grateful for the person they tag in the comments section of the Facebook Live video. They need not be on social media in order to tag. During the 2nd week, contestants will then nominate a friend, co-worker, coach, someone other than a family member.

Finally, during the week of Thanksgiving (November 21), contestants will then nominate themselves to receive the $100 grocery gift card. “We understand these are difficult times and the High Desert community is dealing with a lot of negativity, crime, and hardship. This will be a chance for our fans to nominate themselves,” says Ortega.

Winners will be randomly selected prior to the start of the next contest. “We’re encouraging you to share your gratitude for the special people in your life. Sometimes we take for granted the sacrifices they make- so let’s honor them and at the same time try to win them a great meal”, Ortega jokes, “and if you win maybe you can get them to cook to show you gratitude!”

Valley Hi Toyota is active on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube. Show your gratitude by considering to follow them for more opportunities to participate. Stop in today during the NOWVEMBER sales event and lease a 2017 Camry SE for as low as $199/mo. or a 2016 Toyota Corolla S for only $149/mo.
