Scanner Traffic: Hoist Rescue Underway at Deep Creek

UPDATE: 10:18 AM- Scanner traffic reports indicated the patient was safely rescued. San Bernardino County Firefighters are waiting for AMR to arrive and transport the patient.

DEEP CREEK:( Officials are getting ready to rescue an injured hiker in the Deep Creek area.

Per scanner traffic, a 29-year old male sustained a fractured hip and will need to be hoisted out from the location.

The injured hiker is approximately 2 miles from the Bowen Ranch area. Sheriff’s aviation unit have located the subject and will be performing the rescue soon.
