Saturday Night Foot Pursuit in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY – ( At approximately 11:41 p.m., on Saturday an officer attempted to perform a traffic stop in the area of Nisqually Road and Central Road in Apple Valley. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and foot bailed. He was last seen running north bound through a near by mobile home park.

A female passenger in the vehicle remained on scene and provided police with the name of the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male adult reported to be barefoot and wearing light-colored clothing.

Police are setting up a perimeter in the surrounding area to search for the suspect. A Sheriffs helicopter has also been requested to assist with overhead support. More details will be posted as they become available.
