WRIGHTWOOD, Calif. (VVNG.com) Snowmaking is underway from top to bottom as Mountain High kicks of the start of ski season at their resort Tuesday, November, 29th.
With cooperating weather and snowmaking conditions looking bright, the resort will celebrate opening day with ticket discounts, free giveaways, and special appearances by the Yeti.
Operating hours will be 8:30am-4pm with up to four lifts, one top-to-bottom run (3 Trails – Upper Chisolm, Lower Chisolm, and Cruiser), and a dozen terrain features. More lifts and trails are expected to open by the weekend, including Borderline, Wyatt, and Sunnyside.

Early season ticket rates are just $49 for an 8-hour session, $25 child session (12 & under), and $35 night session (5pm-10pm Fri-Sun).
Children 6 and under ski free when accompanied by a paying adult. Seniors 70+ are free every day. Prices are subject to change without notice and will increase as new terrains are opened.
Those wishing to participate in snow tubing will still have to wait a little longer. The North Pole Tubing Park traditionally opens in early-December. No official opening date has been set. However, there is a good chance it will be open on December 3rd or 4th.
