Police Searching For Vehicle That hit a Boy on a Skateboard

PHELAN:(VVNG.com)- Deputies are looking for a vehicle described as a white or silver Honda Accord that fled after hitting a 12-year-old boy who was skateboarding.

The hit and run occurred on Sheep Creek Road Tuesday morning, June 23, 2015 at approximately 10:00 A.M., near Nielson Road.

Authorities stated he was skateboarding south and was on the west edge of the road near the sidewalk.

The vehicle failed to stop after striking the boy from behind and knocking him to the ground. The male victim was transported by ground ambulance to a hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Victorville CHP at 760-241-1186, who is handling the incident.
