Police Searching For Person Throwing Molotov Cocktails

ORO GRANDE, CA:(– Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect(s) wanted for throwing Molotov Cocktails at vehicles.

On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at approximately 8:18 pm San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call of a person throwing a Molotov Cocktail from a vehicle in the 19100 block of 1st Street in Oro Grande.

The caller reported the suspect was driving a light green Nissan Altima and threw the cocktail at 2 vehicles parked along the roadway. The fire was extinguished quickly and neither of the vehicles were damaged.

On Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at approximately 6:47 pm dispatch received another call regarding a Molotov Cocktail in the same general area of Oro Grande. This time the cocktail landed on the roadway and burned itself out quickly causing no damage.

Deputies are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the light green Nissan Altima.
