Police Searching for Female involved in a Pursuit

PINON HILLS-(VVNG.com): Dispatch received a call after 1:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from a homeowner on the 2300 block of Bear Valley Road in Pinon Hills.

According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Spokeswoman, Staci Parkes, the owners of the vehicle saw someone driving away from the their residence in their 2000 Honda Civic.

Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle at 1:14 a.m., but the female driver failed to yield and Lead deputies on a pursuit for about 25 minutes. Per scanner traffic, an officer in pursuit crashed his patrol car requiring a tow.

The blonde haired, female suspect, ditched the vehicle and fled on foot. Authorities found the damaged vehicle and returned it to the owner.
