Police Search For Suspects Involved in Accident

ADELANTO: Sheriff’s helicopter (40-King) assisted Adelanto patrol units in searching for two suspects who ran from a vehicle after it was involved in a roll over traffic collision.

Per scanner traffic, dispatch received a call from a witness who was driving on Rancho road and stopped to call after seeing a Nissan truck roll several times near Bellflower. When the vehicle came to a stop two occupants jumped out and fled from the accident scene.

Officers patrolled the immediate area and a perimeter was set-up in an effort to locate the suspects. At approximately 7:00 p.m. 40-king located the suspects running in the desert near Power Line road approximately 300 yards from a correctional facility.

Both suspects were arrested a short time later and taken into custody approximately 2.8 miles east of the incident location, per scanner traffic.
