UPDATE: Missing 12-Year-Old Moreno Valley Girl Located

MORENO VALLEY – ( Four years after 17-year-old Moreno Valley resident, Norma Lopez went missing walking home from summer school, Moreno Valley residents still remember it like it was yesterday. Residents are understandably on edge knowing  12-year-old, Mercedes Hernandez is now missing after leaving her home telling family she was going on an afternoon walk. Moreno Valley police are seeking public assistance in locating information that can help lead them to the missing 12-year-old girl.

Hernandez is described as a Hispanic Female, brown hair, brown eyes, 5’7, 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black shirt with camouflage leggings. She was last seen on the 26000 block of Via Xavier Lane in Moreno Valley on Saturday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m., when she left for a walk and did not return. An extensive search of the area was conducted, but Hernandez was not found.
