VICTORVILLE: Police have released a photo of the suspect wanted for robbing a local fast food restaurant at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Officers responded to a Del Taco restaurant, located at 15070 7th Street in Victorville, just before 9:30 p.m.

An armed male suspect, carrying a small black handgun, entered the restaurant and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect fled on foot from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No employees or customers were injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male adult, approximately six feet tall, wearing gray pants and black sweatshirt. He is reported to be missing a front tooth.

According to police the suspect is also wanted for sexually assaulting a female just prior to the armed robbery.
