PHELAN, Calif. (VVNG.com) Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating burglary suspect, Christopher Apodaca, 31, a resident of Phelan.
On Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at approximately 5:30 p.m. detectives and deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at a residence in the 9200 block of Caughlin Road in Phelan.
The search warrant was obtained for the residence as a result of an ongoing investigation over the past several months into numerous storage units within the high desert being burglarized.
At the residence, deputies recovered stolen items from multiple burglaries. Some items have been returned to the victims; however, there are additional items which have not yet been claimed.

Deputies are still attempting to locate the suspect, Christopher Lee Apodaca, and are asking for the public’s assistance. Apodaca is 5’9”, 163lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is currently living in the community of Phelan; however, he is known to frequent all communities within the high desert.
