Pedestrian Struck by Hit-and Run Driver; No Arrest Made

HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Hesperia Station officials said that at about 10:13 p.m. Thursday night a man was hit by a vehicle in that area of Main and C Streets. “A senior male was crossing the street, when he was clipped by the vehicle, knocking him to the ground,” said Sheriff’s Spokeswoman, Karen Hunt.

After hitting the man, the vehicle continued on, leaving the scene. Due to conflicting witness reports, authorities are uncertain if the vehicle was a white Ford F150 pickup or a white Kia Soul. “The pedestrian victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for lacerations to his head sustained in the collision. The injuries were considered minor and not life threatening,” added Hunt.
