One Airlifted After Vehicle Slams Through Fence of Apple Valley Home

APPLE VALLEY-(VVNG.com):  At around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, March 19th dispatch received a report of a vehicle into a home on the 21400 block of Rancherias Road. Upon arrival deputies located a silver Dodge Neon with one of the vehicle occupants pinned inside requiring extrication.

Resident Ismael Navarro said that the vehicle slammed through his fence then into his two vehicles at around 80 miles per hour according to what deputies told him. “I am grateful my vehicles were parked in front of my kids room, otherwise, for sure would’ve gone through my kids room. The police found alcohol inside the Dodge Neon,” said resident, Ismael Navarro.

There were no other injuries reported as a result of the collision. The driver was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center in preparation to be airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
