Naked Man Under the Influence Arrested for Carjacking and Burglary

VICTORVILLE:( Authorities have identified the naked and bloody man that has the entire Victor Valley talking. According to authorities, 19-year-old Daniel Anglin was arrested for carjacking, residential burglary, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

The unusual incident was captured on cell phone video by a woman who stopped in the roadway on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 7:00 A.M.

Anglin was running around nude near the middle of the intersection of El Evado Road and Seneca Road in the City of Victorville, trying to forcibly take the vehicles of two separate victims at the intersection.

According to an anonymous witnesses, prior to police arriving the naked man was seen chasing after children who were waiting at a nearby bus stop. AS the witness drove by he witnesses the naked male attempting to jump into the woman’s vehicle. The anonymous male immediately stopped his car and ran to the woman’s defense and pushed the naked male away from her.

According to a Sheriff’s press release, when deputies arrived on scene, they tried to take Anglin into custody at which time he attempted to steals a Sheriff’s patrol unit.

“He wasn’t listening to commands. He was totally high on something. I thought he was going to injure the officer and that’s why I jumped in to help him,” stated Sam.

Additional deputies arrived and assisted in taking Anglin into custody. Anglin sustained visible injuries prior to his arrest and was transported to a local hospital for treatment prior to booking.

Through investigation authorities also found that Anglin broke into an apartment and was confronted by the owner before fleeing.
