Motorcyclist Severs Foot in Hesperia Crash

HESPERIA:( At about 11:45 p.m. on Friday, July 22nd dispatch received a report of a motorcyclist down in the area of Old Ranchero Road and C Avenue.

Per scanner reports, the reporting party told dispatch the rider had severed his foot after falling off his motorcycle.

For reasons still under investigation, the rider lost control of his black and burgundy Harley Davidson motorcycle. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The patient, a 29-year-old male was transported by ground ambulance to Hesperia Airport and airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
