Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash on Phelan Road

PHELAN, CALIF. (VVNG.com) – A motorcyclist was airlifted after being involved in a crash with a semi-truck Sunday night.

At about 10:00 p.m. dispatch received reports of a motorcycle versus a semi-truck on Phelan Road near Baldy Mesa Road.

Due to the riders injuries an airship was requested to transport the motorcyclist to an out of area trauma center.

Westbound and eastbound traffic on Phelan Road was temporarily blocked while authorities cleared the roadway.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
