Motorcycle rider unresponsive after Victorville crash

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) A male motorcyclist was transported to a trauma center in grave condition after crashing with a car Wednesday morning.

The collision was reported just before 10:00 a.m. on Palmdale Road just east of Park Avenue in the City of Victorville. It involved a 2016 black Dodge Challenger and a  1995 Harley Davidson.

According to Sheriff’s officials, the Challenger was traveling westbound on Palmdale Road and was attempting a turn left to enter the 76 Gas Station when it was struck by motorcyclist traveling eastbound.

The male, described as a man in his 40’s, was transported by helicopter to a trauma center with major facial injuries and was unresponsive at the time of transport.

A partial road closure is expected between the 15 Freeway and Park Avenue on Palmdale Road, according to officials.

The driver was of the Challenger remained onscene and is fully cooperating with the investigation.
