Masked Man Pepper Sprays Employee During Attempted Robbery

VICTORVILLE, Calif,(VVNG.com)– Authorities are actively searching for a masked man who pepper sprayed an employee during an alleged attempted robbery.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m., at the High Desert Truck Stop located at 15655 US Highway 395.

A male employee was sprayed by the non-lethal aerosol as the suspect demanded cash from the register.

The suspect fled on foot north on Highway 395 towards the Maverick Stadium and was described as a Black male adult with a thin build wearing a black sweater, and black ski mask.

A helicopter was called to assist in the search. No cash was taken during the attempted robbery, per scanner reports.
