Man Smoking Pot With Strangers Robbed at Gun Point

ADELANTO:(VVNG.com)- Authorities issued a press release stating a man invited to smoke pot with strangers was robbed at gunpoint.

The armed robbery occurred on Friday, October 16, 2015, at approximately 3:55 p.m., in the parking lot on the 12000 block of Palmdale Road.

deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, assigned to the City of Adelanto, responded to a report of a robbery which occurred in a parking lot along the 12000 block of Palmdale Road.

According to the release, Deputy Katie Merrill responded to the location and contacted the victim. The victim reported to Deputy Merrill he had made contact with the suspects, two unknown black male adults and 2 unknown black female adults in a parking lot near the location.

The victim asked the suspects to use their vehicle to smoke pot, to which the suspects agreed. The victim got into the vehicle with the suspects and they drove to the parking lot. While in the parking lot, one of the black male suspects pulled a gun on the victim. The other black male suspect removed items from the victim’s pockets and took his backpack. The victim was then ordered to leave the vehicle, which he did.
