ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) A man attempting to make a payment on his storage unit was held at gunpoint and robbed for $7,500 as he exited his vehicle.

The victim, an adult male, pulled into the Ball Park Storage parking lot in the 16000 block of Adelanto Road Thursday morning.

Payne was tased by a deputy due to resisting arrest and was eventually booked without further incident. Stinson was positively identified by witnesses as being the second suspect.

Inside the suspect vehicle, deputies located a black Ruger LCP .380 handgun (stolen out of the City of Torrance) and the victim’s bank documents and personal belongings were located. All of the victim’s property was returned to him. Deputies recovered all but approximately $50.00 of the stolen cash.
