Man Rescued from Mine Shaft by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Cave Rescue Team

ADELANTO-(VVNG.com): At about 10:48 p.m. on Friday, September 25th dispatch received a report of a male victim in need of search in rescue near Highway 395 about 4 miles north of Chamberlaine Way near Adelanto.

The male was reportedly stuck in the vertical shaft mine for about four hours and in need of rescue.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Volunteer Forces, Cave Team responded to rescue the man. One member of the team was lowered down the mine shaft to assess the condition of the man.

At approximately 3:00 a.m. the man was located and rescued with only minor injuries.

There is no further information at this time, information will be updated as it is received.
