Man in Wheelchair Robbed by Two Gunmen

VICTORVILLE, Calif.(VVNG.com)- Police are searching for two burglary suspects who broke into the home of a wheelchair-bound man.

On Thursday, December 29, 2016, at about 1:40 p.m. dispatch received a 911 call reporting a residential burglary in the 14500 block of Crossing Trail in Victorville.

Per scanner reports, two Black males gained entry into the home through an open garage door. Once inside the garage, the suspects kicked down the door leading into the residence.

“One of the suspects had a handgun and told the victim, who is wheelchair bound, that they were there to get money. They searched the home and once they found the man’s money they took it and left,” stated Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.

Authorities conducted a search for the suspects but were unsuccessful.

The suspects are described as two Black males, approximately 23-years-old, both wearing black shirts, dark pants, and gloves.
