Man Dies in Single Vehicle Rollover Crash in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) A 39-year-old man died following a single-vehicle rollover crash Sunday morning.

The accident was reported at approximately 7:03 am on Tussing Ranch Road just east of Mocking Bird Avenue in the unincorporated area of Apple Valley.

The Hispanic male driver was the sole occupant of a silver 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 that was traveling eastbound on Tussing Ranch Road.

The driver lost control and hit a dirt berm causing the truck to roll once before it landed back on its wheels, CHP Officer Jeff Braughton told Victor Valley News.

Officer Braughton said the male driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene when medical personnel arrived.

The driver’s name is being withheld until family has been notified of his death.
