Man Commits Suicide on the Spring Valley Lake Golf Course

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): At around 7:53 p.m. on Monday, May 2nd Victor Valley Station deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the report of a gunshot wound victim at the Spring Valley Lake Golf Course on Kalin Ranch Drive.

Upon arrival, they located a man who appeared to be suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Medics attempted to save the life of the fatally wounded man to no avail. Per scanner traffic, he was pronounced deceased at 8:22 p.m.

Victor Valley Station Spokeswoman Pam Hoffman was only able to confirm that deputies did respond to the call and the coroner’s office was called for a deceased male. There is no additional information available at this time, information will be updated as it is received.
