VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Job-seekers are invited to apply now for the upcoming “Made in the High Desert” manufacturers’ job fair in Victorville, Supervisor Robert A. Lovingood announced.
Local manufacturers have jobs available but lack of qualified candidates. This targeted job fair will link qualified candidates with local employers.
The Feb. 23 job fair will be for pre-screened and qualified job seekers who register online at www.csb-win.org. Use job order 32195. Those that qualify will receive an invitation for entry.
For those that do not qualify for this event, the America’s Job Center of California can assist with participating in other job fair and career training opportunities. Visit http://wp.sbcounty.gov/workforce/ or call 760-552-6550.
“We’re seeing more interest from companies looking to expand in the High Desert, and with our partnerships with private manufacturers and training resources with our emphasis on technical training, we’re developing a pipeline of qualified workers to help businesses grow,” Supervisor Lovingood said.
