Jeff Bragg Recognized as Outstanding Teacher of the Month by Assemblyman Obernolte

HESPERIA, Calif. (news release) – Assemblyman Jay Obernolte (R-Hesperia) honored Jeff Bragg from Victor Elementary School District as his outstanding teacher for the month of October. Jeff consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty for his students and their families. He is the epitome of the VESD motto, “Learning for all…Whatever it takes.”

Mr. Bragg started his career as an elementary school teacher for the Victor Elementary School District in 1997. Within the school district he has taught at both Lomitas Elementary and Green Tree East. In 2014, he transitioned to his current position as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher. In this position, he works with students with physical and intellectual impairments to ensure they get exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, Jeff is a huge proponent of physical fitness and team sports. He plays on the district’s softball and football teams every year in the High Desert Fitness Challenge.

“Jeff deserves recognition for dedicating his career to helping the students who need it most,” said Assemblyman Obernolte. “It takes a special person to educate children with developmental disabilities and Jeff excels at working with these kids. It’s an honor to recognize him as my outstanding teacher of the month.”
