Hit and Run Vehicle Vs. Pedestrian; Suspect Still Not Located

VICTORVILLE-( At about 10:15 a.m. on Friday, September 11th, a vehicle struck a bicyclist in the area of Hesperia Road and Winona Street in Victorville.

According to authorities, the bike rider was heading southbound on Hesperia Road and the driver was heading eastbound on Winona Drive approaching Hesperia Road when the collision occurred.

As the male bicyclist laid on the floor near his bicycle, a Black Female Adult, age 30-40 years of age got out to check on the bicyclist.

A second vehicle drove up and as they called 9-1-1 the female driver got back in her dark grey or black SUV in an unknown direction on Hesperia Road. The bicyclist was treated by AMR for minor injuries and it is unknown at this time if he was transported for treatment.

The unknown driver of the SUV has not yet been located. If you witnessed the collision or have any information to help lead deputies to the driver, you are asked to call 760-241-2911.
