Hesperia Man Shot During Assault

HESPERIA:(VVNG.com)- A 46-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on Tuesday for assault with a deadly weapon.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Deputies of the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to a dispute on the 6000 block of Summit Valley Road that was quickly escalating.

A male reporting party notified dispatch that a family member was at the location harassing them and was possibly under the influence. As deputies were enroute, a female reporting party stated shots were fired and that the harassing family member had been shot and was fleeing the scene.

Deputies responded to the scene, while others checked the area for the fleeing suspect. Deputies located the suspect, Allen Vian in the area of the Hesperia Airport with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Allen was transported by air to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Through investigation, it was learned that the resident of the location asked her adult son to be present at her residence as she was having trouble with a family member, Allen Vian. Suspect Vian was to be at her location to pick up some items and had been harassing in the past. While on the premises Vian engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim, the resident’s son, which quickly turned physical when Vian attempted to assault the victim with a brick. The victim defended himself with a firearm, injuring the suspect. The suspect then fled the scene and was located nearby at the Hesperia Airport.

Suspect Allen Vian was treated at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for his injuries and then booked at West Valley Detention Center on charges of PC245(a)(1)- assault with a deadly weapon, with bail set at $50,000.
