Gas Leak Temporarily Shuts Down Bear Valley Road

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- A gas main break temporarily shut down a portion of Bear Valley Road on Friday afternoon.

The gas main break was reported at 1:50 PM, on April 29, 2016, near the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Locust Avenue. The leak caused westbound traffic on Bear Valley Road to be temporarily diverted down Locust Avenue.

According to County Fire Captain Mike McClintock, the gas leak was secured just before 2:30 PM, and the scene was turned over to Southwest Gas.

Westbound lanes on bear Valley Road have been reopened.
