VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): San Bernardino County Firefighters responded to a fire on the 13400 block of Big Sky Court on Sunday at around 6:53 a.m. The initial reports indicated that there was smoke showing and smoke detectors activated.
The first to arrive was Medic Engine 313, which arrived only 6 minutes after the call and they found the single-story home with grey smoke coming from the eaves and gable vents, which indicated an attic space fire.
Crews entered the home to locate the source of the fire and conduct a primary search for any trapped occupants. The fire was knocked down within 15 minutes.
A total of fourteen fire personnel responded, including 3 paramedic engine companies, 1 paramedic truck company, 1 battalion chief, and 1 fire investigator. San Bernardino County Fire Department Spokesman, Jeff Allen told Victor Valley News that one occupant was displaced by the fire and will be staying with family.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this fire, the cause is currently under investigation.
