HESPERIA, Calif: (VVNG.com)- The search for a 62-year-old missing man with a medical condition is underway Wednesday.

Friends say, Paul Boone went for a ride Tuesday night to get a better view of the Pilot Fire. However, Paul never returned home.

At about 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Paul called a friend and said his truck was stuck way out in Apple Valley. Paul hasn’t answered any of the calls made to his cell phone since that initial call.

Friends say Paul is disabled and hypoglycemic. They don’t believe he has any water on medications with him.

Paul’s vehicle is a red 1994 Toyota 4Runner with white stripes on the side. The plate number on the vehicle is CA 3XDX729.

Authorities are conducting a search for Paul or his vehicle. They’ve searched several areas including Bowen Ranch, Power Line area, and Deep Creek.
