Store clerk pistol-whipped during armed robbery in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) A Victorville store clerk was pistol-whipped over the head during an armed robbery Tuesday night.

Just before 10:50 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Joe’s Market in the 16100 block of Green Tree Blvd., reference a silent alarm at the location.

When deputies arrived, they located an employee with blood coming from the back of his head who reported he’d just been robbed.

Per scanner reports, the clerk was pistol-whipped over the head by the suspect during the armed robbery. The suspect(s) fled the location with an unknown amount of cash prior to deputies arrival.

The store clerk was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as two Black male adults wearing all dark clothing and were last seen running eastbound from the location, scanner traffic reported.

No other employee’s or customers were injured during the armed robbery.
