Duo Arrested For Robbing & Assaulting Liquor Store Employee

ADELANTO, CALIF.(VVNG.COM)- Two women were arrested Saturday night for allegedly assaulting and robbing a liquor store employee in Adelanto.

On Saturday, October 22, 2016, at approximately 9:50pm, Deputies were dispatched to an unknown problem at Michaels Market and Liquor in Adelanto.

Through the investigation, it was learned that the suspects, Ashicia Denise Ravenel, 29, a resident of Oro Grande and Delaysia White, 28, a resident of Adelanto entered the market and attempted to steal miscellaneous snacks and candy by hiding them in White’s purse. When confronted by the store clerk, the suspects were asked to leave the store.

Ravenel and White returned a short time later. Ravenel was prevented from entering the store; however, White was able to gain entry and immediately began fighting with the store clerk, hitting him several times, and stealing a bracelet off his wrist.

When deputies arrived they located White inside the store and she was taken into custody without incident. Ravenel fled the scene on foot prior to the deputies’ arrival but was located a short time later and was also taken into custody without incident.

Ashicia Denise Ravened and Delaysia White are both being held at the West Valley Detention Center in lieu of $100,000.00 bail each.
