Duo Arrested for Armed Robbery, Assault, and False Imprisonment

VICTORVILLE, Calif.(VVNG.com)- A man and woman were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment after robbing their victim at gunpoint, authorities said.

On October, 21, 2016, at approximately 3:30pm, a male adult contacted law enforcement to report he had been assaulted, robbed and then held against his will.

According to the victim, he went to the apartment he was moving out of to get some of his belongings, and was confronted inside the apartment by a male and female.

The male and female identified as 31-year-old Rudy Salazar, a resident of Hesperia and 30-year-old Bianca Brown, a resident of Apple valley were friends of his roommates.

While inside the apartment, Rudy and Bianca brandished a knife and silver handgun at the victim. In fear for his safety, the victim gave the two subjects money they demanded.

Rudy assaulted the victim, cut him with the knife, and the suspects prevented the victim from leaving the apartment.

Bianca Brown was located on Saturday, October 22, 2016, and was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.

Detectives conducted surveillance in Hesperia, and located Rudy Salazar. A search warrant was served at Salazar’s residence, during which detectives located false California drivers’ licenses. Salazar was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto. Salazar is currently being held in lieu of $100,000.00 bail. Bianca Brown is currently out on bail.
