VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com):  One man was injured after a shooting at the Pavillion Apartments located in the 14400 block of Mc Art Road in Victorville Wednesday morning.

At around 9:19 a.m. Victorville Deputies and AMR responded to a report that a male victim was suffering from a gunshot wound at the location.

Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman, Mara Rodriguez said, “There was evidence found that indicated shots were fired.”

Per scanner traffic, shell casings were located by deputies on scene and bullet holes were clearly visible in the window of an upper floor apartment.

A neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous said that they did not hear anything but that particular apartment has been the target to a past break-in.

Deputies made contact with the victim at an undisclosed location.  It is unclear what type of injuries were sustained. The victim was standing and walking indicating any injuries were minor and that a gunshot wound was not the cause of the injury.

There are no suspect or suspect vehicle descriptions available at this time. Deputies continue to investigate and no additional information is available at this time. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
