Couple’s Argument Leads to Stabbing

VICTORVILLE-(  At around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20th Victorville deputies, and emergency personnel responded to the report of a stabbing at the Shell Station at 12130 Bear Valley Road.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that the incident was an altercation between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

“The couple had an argument the day before and she cut his arm. Then yesterday, when the two of them were at the gas station, they got into another argument and the girlfriend stabbed him with a key in the same spot on his arm, causing the wound to reopen,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.

The female suspect left the scene northbound on Highway 395 prior to deputy arrival. Deputies conducted an extensive area check and were unable to locate the suspect. The male victim was transported to Desert Valley Hospital for treatment.
