BREAKING: Fast Moving Brush Fire Erupts Near 15/215 Freeways

11:45 PM – Firefighters are making progress and the fire is holding at 20 acres, according to San Bernardino National Forrest.

11:00 PM – The KenFire is now at 19 acres, 0% containment, and moving away from the freeway.

10:45 PM- All but two lanes on the northbound 15 freeway are closed.

10:30 PM – The fire has been dubbed the Ken Fire.

DEVORE, CA:(VVNG.com)-  A fast-moving brush fire erupted the Cajon Pass near the town of Devore on Saturday night.

The fire was reported at 9:45 p.m. along the northbound I-15 freeway near the 215 interchange.

The fire is reported to be 7-10 acres and threatening structures. Night aircraft have been requested.

San Bernardino County Fire tweeted that the fire is moving at a fast rate of spread and units are in attack mode.

The fire is burning near the area where the Blue Cut Fire burned.

CalTrans has closed the northbound 215 to at the 15 to northbound traffic.
