Apple Valley, CA – February 13, 2017: The Town of Apple Valley will offer extended hours for passport processing on Thursday, Feb. 16. Normal processing hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon, but staff is available by appointment only until 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.
Since 2003, the Town Clerk’s Office has processed more than 16,000 passports, and is rated as excellent by the Department of State for its outstanding service as a Passport Acceptance Facility.
Standard passports for adults are $110. Passports for children age 15 and under are $80. Wallet-sized U.S. Passport Cards valid for land and sea crossings between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean are $30 for adults and $15 for children 15 or younger. A separate processing fee of $25 must be paid separately for each passport processed.
