HESPERIA(VVNG.com)- On August 14, 2014 at 1:59 p.m., Hesperia deputies responded to a shooting in the area of Seventh Avenue and Mesa Street. An adult male reported he had been shot and left along the roadway. Upon arrival deputies discovered friends of the victim had subsequently picked him up and were preparing to transport him to a hospital.
[googlemap src=”” align=”alignright” ]The victim refused to answer questions, was uncooperative with deputies and at this time it is unknown if he shot himself or if there are suspects outstanding. The male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, was transported by Hesperia Fire personnel. After an initial assessment at a local hospital, the victim was airlifted to another facility for treatment and his current condition is unknown.
All remaining subjects were detained and brought to the Hesperia Station to be interviewed by detectives. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information regarding this case is asked to please contact Hesperia Deputies Derek Stokes or Zane Jansky at 760-947-1500.
