Apple Valley Man Stabbed; Suspect at Large

APPLE VALLEY-(  San Bernardino County Sheriff’s department deputies from the Apple Valley Station and medical personnel were dispatched to apartments on the 18000 block of Taloga Road on Saturday in response to an unknown medical aid.

Upon arrival, just before 10:00 p.m. the reporting party who is the girlfriend of the victim told dispatchers that the victim was not breathing and was stabbed in the neck by an unknown suspect. Medics found the man with large lacerations to his neck that were consistent with a stab wound.

CPR was administered to the victim and he was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

A resident that lives in the apartment complex told Victor Valley News that deputies are going door to door asking if anyone heard or saw anything. She also said that no one is being allowed to enter or exit the complex.

As of 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, no arrests have been made and detectives remain on scene. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time and  no additional information is available. Victor Valley News reached out to the sheriff’s department, but they were not immediately available for comment. Information will be updated as it is received.
