Altercation Puts a Damper on the Final Apple Valley Sunset Concert

APPLE VALLEY-(VVNG.com):  The final Apple Valley Concert in the park or “Sunset Concert”, on Thursday, August 13th featuring “Four Shadows Fall” did not go exactly as planned when a fight ensued. Although, according to scanner traffic the concert went to it’s entirety, it did not end without issues.

Residents, most who were there for a good time with friends or family were alarmed when when the altercation began. “It all happened so fast and a bunch of kids went running to watch,” said Victor Valley News Member, Kristen Hunter.

Dispatch received the report at about 7:13 p.m. stating that there was a fight at the concert, which took place on the 14000 block of Dale Evans Parkway. Deputies arrived on scene to control, what witnesses say were several teen boys and a Sheriff’s Helicopter was called to assist.

It was verbal only.  No victims, no suspects, no injuries,” said San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Sarah Gault.
