Victor Valley Union High School District won a car for the first time in the history of the It’s a Gas Celebration of Education events.
Rita Arias, a food service worker for Adelanto High School, is taking home a brand new 2017 Fiat 500x after Thursday night’s It’s a Gas to Support Class event!
Arias has been at AHS for four years and with VVUHSD for six. She will be recognized at the Thursday (May 4) board meeting.
The district had two of the four finalists, and a total of 106 VVUHSD classified employees qualified for the event by having perfect attendance since the start of the school year.
The other district finalist was Carla Townsend of Hook Junior High. Congrats to Rita, and thanks to all of our classified employees for their dedication to our students every day!
And thanks to Victorville Motors, Desert Fiat and all the sponsors for this great program!
